Essential Requirements

Ideally you will have experience as a Dietitian or Nutritionist, particularly as a paediatric or neonatal dietitian.
Experience in a Medical Science Liaison, Key Account Manager or Medical Sales Representative role in the Nutrition market will also be considered.
Educated to degree level in a relevant discipline with demonstrated experience.
Ability to builds strong relationships with peers and cross functionally and with partners outside of team.
Learns fast, grasps the “essence”, and can change course quickly where indicated.
Persistent and resilient when confronted with obstacles – finds the way.
Willing to travel across the length & breadth of UK.
Full UK driving licence.

Our client is the European leader in Neonatal and Paediatric Nutrition products who have recently come to the UK. Our client is seeking a Medical Science Liaison, to communication information and facilitate dialogue about their marketed products and products in development.

Role Responsibilities

This role shall focus on medical and scientific engagement with stakeholders (including research and healthcare professionals, payers, and providers).
Ensure a strong medical and scientific presence in key academic centres by facilitation of research and educational initiatives.
Serve as a point of contact for Clinicians / Dietitians and other external experts in order to satisfy their needs for scientific knowledge in the paediatric/neonatal therapeutic area.
Deliver credible presentations on scientific matters to physicians, individually or in groups (meetings, clinical sessions, etc.), where requested.
Skills associated with both in-person and remote discussion (e.g., Zoom).
Attend relevant scientific meetings and conferences.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop summaries of key data and other scientifically relevant information.
Support internal teams such as sales and marketing.
