Essential Requirements

Preferably you will have strong experience as a Hospital Representative within the Ophthalmology market.
The following backgrounds will also be considered: Hospital Representative in a similar therapy area; Sales Representative within Retail Ophthalmology; or GP/Hospital Representatives with experience of formulary inclusions.
Experience in new product launches would be ideal.
ABPI qualification is desirable but not essential.
Strong negotiations skills with the ability to sell ideas/concepts to external stakeholders at all levels.

Our client is seeking a driven and resilient individual to join their sales team as a Territory Manager covering North West England and Yorkshire. This is an exceptional opportunity to join a rapidly-expanding Pharmaceutical organisation, with a very exciting product pipeline.

Role Responsibilities

The choice of products, messaging and position is defined by the company’s marketing teams and it is expected the Territory Manager will follow this strategy which is subject to change.
The Territory Manager will sell the products in a manner consistent with ethical standards of the company and ensure they also to meet any other local codes of conduct with regards to pharmaceutical products or medical devices.
Establish and enhance the reputation of the company as a scientific pharmaceutical organisation and partner of choice for Ophthalmologists and any other associated healthcare professionals who have a role in treating relevant diseases.
Increase awareness of targeted products with designated healthcare professionals and increase their knowledge of the product properties and application in the treatment of relevant diseases, by regularly contact.
