Role Responsibilities

  • Drive sales by effectively planning and prioritising the sales activity of Urology consumable devices in the designated area to deliver targets set by the Urology Sales Director.
  • Produce a business plan, identifying key sales areas and prioritise the actions to protect and grow the business while ascertaining which new accounts should be actively targeted.
  • Meet and develop effective professional relationships with all key stakeholders who include, but are not limited to, Purchasing Consortium's and Regional Purchasing Hubs, Procurement Managers and Procurement Departments, Urology Nurse Specialists, Continence Advisors and Continence Link Nurses, Prescribing Advisors, Medicines Management Personnel, District Nurses and Private and Corporate Nursing Homes.
  • Represent and promote the Urology portfolio of products using professional selling and negotiation skills to drive demand in key areas in line with agreed activity levels that follow the market development strategy and optimise customer satisfaction.
  • Implement clinical trials using the relevant documentation and provide feedback on the results to management and marketing outlining the account conversion strategy and provide the relevant personnel with forecasts on the predicted unit volume of the new business and, in line with stock availability, manage customer expectation for the conversion.
  • Analyse monthly sales figures and produce a report that shows performance against budget highlighting any additional actions planned to ensure an on-target performance is achieved.
  • Develop and maintain the requisite product and market knowledge of the Urology portfolio, including the competitor equivalents, and ensure professional qualifications are kept up to date.
