An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a fantastic specialist sales team, promoting a global-leading product within the Diabetes Care market. Our client is a dynamic, research-focused Healthcare company, and are in search of the ideal candidate that are looking to take the step into building a long-term career in Medical Sales. So if you have a Pharmaceutical sales background within Primary Care then this could be the position for you.
The role will be dealing predominantly with GPs, Practice Nurses, Practice Managers and some Consultants across the West Midlands area, covering specific CCGs including Coventry & Rugby, Sandwell & West Birmingham, South Warwickshire and North Warwickshire.

Role Responsibilities

  • High clinical and business knowledge maintained by self-learning, e-learning and achieving pass rate in all assessments.
  • Deliver structured, consistent sales calls to target customers. Ensure that key product and marketing messages are reinforced at every call using appropriate current materials. Follow up calls booked.
  • Routine and consistent analysis of the territory business using market share data, monthly KPI reports, BI reports and system placement data to ensure that activity is effective and that the optimal customers are being targeted.
  • Monthly business review with Outcome Specialist to ensure successful achievement of business plan for implementation and acquisition LHEs.
  • Quarterly review of territory business plan with line manager formulating in specific key action plan.
  • Ensure all systems are placed in accordance with the business plan and budget. Lock ups are managed in accordance with the SOP.
  • Ensure that sales call rates are achieved and target customers are seen at the correct frequency and logged into Salesforce.Com.
  • Ensure that a rolling 4-week action plan is logged on Outlook, with a full allocation of working time. All appointments logged into Outlook.
  • Manage administrative functions in compliance with standard deadlines, to include call reporting, customer orders, monthly reporting, planning, and expenses.
  • Ensure that financial responsibilities are correctly managed, including expense compliance, sponsorship budget and FOC meter budget.
  • Prepare and communicate accurate forecasts to enable the business to plan effectively.
  • Develop and sustain effective cross-team communication and working relationships with colleagues in the ABM team, the Infusion Specialist Team and Internal Departments.
  • Achieve the minimum expectations of the role as detailed in the Blood Glucose Specialist Standards & Expectations document.
  • Ensure that all relevant Company policies and procedures are understood and adhered to.
  • Active participation in own personal development, maintaining high clinical knowledge levels through ownership of the Individual Development Plan.
