About the Job

Our client is a dynamic and professional Healthcare organisation that work together with patient requirements and GPs to provide efficient Home Delivery Services for Stoma Care products. They are in search of an enthusiastic Area Sales Manager responsible for developing and maintaining the business alongside achieving targeted sales through the promotion of a first-class Home Delivery Services (HDS) and an innovative range of Stoma Care products, predominantly into Nurses and other KOLs in Hospitals across South West England, including Devon, Cornwall, Bristol, Southampton, Oxford and South Wales.

Role Responsibilities

  • Achieve targets and grow business as set by the Management team.
  • Plan and manage territory under the guidance of the National Sales Manager.
  • Maintain and develop business with existing customers.
  • Identify and develop new accounts and adapt as market changes.
  • Provide a professional interface between the customer and the company using best practice at all times.
  • Contact and visit Stoma Care Nurses on a regular basis to promote the Home Delivery Service & range of products.
  • Ensure company admin is kept accurate and up to date.
  • Attend local association meetings and arrange and attend patient open days in line with allocated budget.
  • Visit key wholesalers to promote new products and develop strong inter-company relationships.
  • Maintain company confidentiality.
  • To analyse data to ensure sound understanding of local market and interpreting these to create a business plan for growth.
  • Liaise with the other Sales Team members to share and maximise business opportunities.
  • Communicate with Sales Team Manager and marketing on issues relating to competitor/market activity.
  • Provide the Sales Team Manager with general and administrative reports.
  • Accurately maintain customer records.
  • Attendance and participation at Sales meetings and National Exhibitions when necessary.
  • To undertake other duties as may be reasonably required.
