Evolve are recruiting for a forward-thinking, global Healthcare company in the process of expanding their team in the Clinical Nutrition market across the UK. Our client is seeking a tenacious and steadfast National Sales Manager to become a core member of the UK and Ireland Clinical Nutrition Management Team, managing the tactical and operational daily activities of the sales team across the country.

Role Responsibilities

  • Plans, directs, and controls the sales and business activities through the translation of strategic plans into sales strategies to attain sales volume, product mix and profit objectives.
  • Prepares annual targets and forecasts and participates in the determination of market potential and in the preparation of sales expense estimates.
  • Plans and manages the sales efforts across the country with specific regional focus where appropriate.
  • Contacts major accounts and KOLs to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Involved in helping to direct key operational tasks relating to manufacturing and operations.
  • Directs staffing, training, and performance evaluations to develop and control sales program.
  • Confers with immediate superior and marketing personnel in the development of marketing policy, recommending product and product line revisions as well as pricing changes and strategies.
  • Partners with sales support, marketing and R&D in activities such as sales promotion, training or market research in planning and executing special projects.
  • Promotes the company culture through positive ongoing customer relations.
  • Directs product simplification and standardisation to eliminate unprofitable items from sales line.
  • Driving field team activity towards proactive and timely engagement in regional and national contracting and tendering exercises.
  • Partners with other departments within organisation to prepare manuals and technical publications as well as steering strategies and document completion for all major contracts and tendering exercises.
  • Performs a key role in coaching and supporting the professional and career development of the field based sales team.
  • Utilises SPIN based sales coaching model to drive customer/business adoption and sales cycles
