Community Account Manager - Cardiology - Dorset

Salary: Highly competitive package + bonus/benefits

Our client are a global, marketing leading Pharmaceutical organisation, who have a unique opportunity to join a new team build in the Cardiology therapy area. The role will be working as a Community Account Manager across Dorset. Our client are currently building a brand new Community Account Management team within our cardio franchise. This is an opportunity to work on a blockbuster product that could transform the future course of heart failure in the UK!

Essential Requirements:
Ideally experience within Cardiology.
Ideally experience within Primary Care Pharmaceutical Sales, working with Primary Care customers.
A proven track record in commercialising products.
Ability to take an account management approach to managing territory business.
Ability to manage the demands of a portfolio of products.
Science or business qualification or relevant working equivalent.
A current driving licence with no more than 6 points.

Role Responsibilities:
To drive territory sales performance, market share and optimal resource utilisation.
To develop effective professional business relationships with customers that support delivery of business results.
To contribute to and implement account plans with complex customers including GPs, Practice Nurses (including long term condition specialists), Practice Based Pharmacists, Retail Pharmacists, Practice Managers and Primary Care Business Managers.
To differentiate our client as a leader in a specific therapeutic area.
Maintain high levels of collaboration throughout internal team specifically Key Account Manager, Patient Access Manager and Medical roles.
Executes account plans for assigned product lines/brands, customers or therapeutic area; uncovers and develops new business opportunities within Primary Care.
Deploys and uses Marketing and Sales promotional materials and programs; coordinates direct promotion programs and facilitates pull-through activities.
Develops deep specialist product and disease state knowledge in a specific therapeutic area and leverages this to build professional customer relationships and support sound clinical discussions.
Works within Integrity and Compliance policies and ensures others do the same.
