Key Account Manager - Oncology - Yorkshire & North East
Salary: Flexible salary and benefits DOEEvolve Selection are currently recruiting for an exciting new opportunity with a dynamic and specialist Pharmaceutical organisation. Our client has an extensive product range within the Oncology arena. This role will be working as a Key Account Manager across Yorkshire and the North East of England, with a focus on the key centres, including: Newcastle, North Tees, North Cumbria, Leeds, Huddersfield, Hull, York, Harrogate and Sheffield. The main purpose of this role is to achieve sales targets, prepare for new products and develop local KOLs.
You will have experience of working in Oncology.
Substantial and proven specialist care experience is highly desirable.
Product launch experience is preferred, ideally within Oncology.
Comfortable working in matrix environment, closely with commercial department.
You will be comfortable conversing with the leading experts in any given field of medicine.
Strong analytical skills and ability to assimilate and simplify complex data, through a Key Account Management approach.
Possess a strong sense of responsibility and have a good track record of working independently and meeting sales targets.
Minimum of degree qualification.
Promote and sell products by influencing the customer's opinion.
Provide regular progress on performance, preparing customer call plans and SMART call objectives.
Work to achieve business objectives and deliver results.
Develop and maintain records of all customer and territory information on the CRM system within set timelines.
Measures return on the investment and keeps within budget.
Monitor market trends, competitor products and customer need to identify new SMART business objectives and provide timely feedback to all relevant internal stakeholders.
Independently stays well-informed of latest information in Oncology and maintains a high standard on training programmes and knowledge assessments.
Design and implement a Key Account Management strategy for the territory and utilise the matrix team to deliver the required performance of the account.
Support the sales team by sharing best practice.
Provide market access expertise to ensure timely and appropriate uptake of the company's brands.
