Account Manager - Ophthalmology - North West

Our client is a dynamic medical device organisation, who have a unique opportunity to join an already established team in the Ophthalmology therapy area. The role will be working as an Account Manager across the North West of England, incorporating Liverpool to Carlisle / between Wirral & Warrington. The purpose of the role is to obtain the maximum sales in accordance with established sales targets.
Qualification or equivalent work experience in Life Sciences or a related field.
Ophthalmic surgical sales experience with a track record of achievements – desired not necessary.
Experience in medical devices and medical capital sales environment.
Theatre sales experience.
Develop new business with customers to achieve safe and effective use of products.
Achieve agreed sales targets.
Maintain and optimise existing relationships and manage business with existing key customers.
Provide feedback on competitor activities in the field via line management.
Organise and co-ordinate local meetings on territory, ensuring adequate facilities, company literature, samples and relevant audio-visual aids are available where necessary.
