If so, we currently have a rare and exciting opportunity, where our client is looking for candidates, either experienced in Pharmaceutical sales or with an FMCG/ OTC/ Healthcare sales background who are looking to take the step into building a long-term career in Medical Sales. This position is working with a dynamic and supportive Healthcare company who have a range of products within the Diabetes market. If you are looking to work in an innovative and tenacious environment, then this position may be for you. This role is covering South London. You will be dealing with GPs, Practice Nurses, some Consultants and Practice Managers.
Ideally you will have proven medical sales experience, however candidates from FMCG sales backgrounds will be considered.
A willingness to become an expert in the field of Diabetes.
Ability to manage the demands of a portfolio of products.
You will be target driven.
Must have high volume appointment experience.
Able to deliver long last professional relationships with internal and external customers.
They must be a high energy candidate, with great innovation, passion for sales and creativity to gain access.
Have a strong customer focus.
A proven track record in commercialising products.
Ability to take an account management approach to managing territory business.
Must live on territory.
Build and maintain effective customer relationships across Primary and Secondary Care with all target customers.
High clinical and business knowledge maintained by self-learning, e-learning and achieving pass rate in all assessments.
Deliver structured, consistent sales calls to target customers. Ensure that key product and marketing messages are reinforced at every call using appropriate current materials. Follow up calls booked.
Routine and consistent analysis of the territory business using market share data, monthly KPI reports and system placement data to ensure that activity is effective and that the optimal customers are being targeted.
Quarterly review of territory business plan with line manager formulating in specific key action plan.
Ensure all systems are placed in accordance with the business plan and budget.
Ensure that sales call rates are achieved and target customers are seen at the correct frequency and logged into CRM system.
Manage administrative functions in compliance with standard deadlines, to include call reporting, customer orders, monthly reporting, planning and expenses.
Ensure that financial responsibilities are correctly managed, including expense compliance and sponsorship budget.
Prepare and communicate accurate forecasts to enable the business to plan effectively.
Develop and sustain effective cross-team communication and working relationships with colleagues in the team and Internal departments.
Active participation in own personal development, maintaining high clinical knowledge levels through ownership of the Individual Development Plan.
