National Account Manager - Monitoring Devices - UK

Salary: Above average salary + excellent bonus/benefits

We are currently recruiting for a market leading global healthcare organisation with an exciting new opportunity working as a National Account Manager. This exciting role will be working with key pharmacy and retail accounts across the UK. The National Account Manager manages sales and budgets for existing customers ensuring they remain profitable. Furthermore, they manage the commercial relationships with existing contacts and customers to maintain a high level of service delivery, whilst identifying new business opportunities.

Ideal Candidate Background:
4 - 6 years National Account Management experience managing large wholesalers and pharmacy buying groups would be desirable.
Regional Account Managers who are looking to move into a National role will also be considered.
Experience with opening new large accounts as well as further developing existing accounts.
Previous experience in a consumer product environment.
Knowledge of OTC Sales, the pharmacies channel and/or a medical environment is an advantage.
Proficient in English, both written and verbal.
Excellent negotiation skills.

Role Responsibilities:
Secure supervision across the-board for all the customer segments and report on all the significant changes on the market.
Evaluate customers for development potential.
Involvement in the development of a customer processing concept and the annual business plan to achieve sales and earnings targets.
Prepare action plans in cooperation with the Sales Manager and the management to expand the business.
Plan and comply with annual budget.
Develop a pricing policy.
