Territory Manager - Ostomy - N. West, W. Yorks & N. Wales
Salary: Flexible salary and benefits DOEEvolve Selection are currently recruiting for an exciting new opportunity with a dynamic and supportive Healthcare organisation. Our client has an extensive product range within the Ostomy market. This exciting role will be working as a Territory Manager across the North West, West Yorkshire and North Wales areas. The main purpose of this role is to achieve targeted sales through the promotion of the company range of products to specified customers.
You will be a successful Medical Sales Representative with a minimum of 2 years' field sales experience.
Understanding of sales techniques and the sales process.
Experience of working in a target orientated and commercial environment.
A current driving licence with no more than 6 points.
Ability to recognise buying signals, effectively overcome objections and close sales.
Proven track record of sales achievement
Ability to communicate effectively, both written and orally.
Have demonstrated ability to work in a field based role and organise appointments & diary.
Strong work ethic and ability to work under pressure.
Achieve targets set by Sales Manager.
Plan and manage your territory under the guidance of the National Sales Manager.
Maintain and develop business with existing customers.
Establish opportunities for business by prospecting in new markets if necessary.
Establish, develop and support new accounts.
Provide a professional interface between the customer and the Company.
Aim to visit/contact Stoma Care Nurses on a four-weekly cycle to promote the company range of products and feedback on market intelligence.
Liaise and communicate with other sales team members to maximise business opportunities within the territory.
Report back to your Sales Manager and marketing on issues relating to competitor activity/market activity.
Provide Sales Manager with general and weekly administration reports.
Grow knowledge of stoma market within territory and take an active interest in market shares of the company and competitor products with view to finding opportunities for growth.
Accurately maintain customer records.
Attend local weekend association meetings and patient open days in line with allocated budget.
Attendance and participation in Sales Meetings and National Exhibitions when necessary.
Maintain a four-weekly supply of sample and stationery stock.
Visit key wholesalers to promote new products and develop strong inter-company relationships.
Maintain Company confidentiality.
Complete Distance Learning Modules as and when required.
Work closely with Nurse and Marketing Teams as required.
Perform other duties as and when required.
