Key Account Manager - Severe Asthma - Southern England
Salary: Exceptional package in line with experience and achievementsWe are currently recruiting for a market leading Pharmaceutical organisation with an exciting new opportunity to be part of a new team build. The role will be working as a Key Account Manager within the Severe Asthma market for the launch of a new product across the Southern England territory. The main purpose of the role is to achieve sales targets and company objectives as defined by the Associate Director and the Senior Director.
Science Degree or extensive relevant in role experience.
ABPI Code of Practice qualification.
Key Account Management experience.
Successful track record in selling branded products to specialist hospital customers and developing brand advocates.
Experience in launching new innovative products.
Knowledge of procurement within the NHS.
Demonstrable understanding of negotiating formulary inclusion & hospital contract purchasing.
Experience in the Pharmaceutical market.
Ability to work under pressure and to tight time deadlines.
Ability to prioritise complex workload across territory.
Ability to manage a complex portfolio and prioritise according to local business needs.
Excellent negotiation skills.
A current driving licence with no more than 6 points.
Achieve sales targets as defined by the Associate Director.
Manage profitability of accounts on the Region.
Develop and implement business strategy to drive sales of all key products within defined Region.
Manage relationships, with key customers and Nationally recognised experts in the field of Severe Eosinophilic Asthma on the Region.
Promote the company in a positive manner and further develop its reputation in the field of Respiratory Medicine.
Liaise with marketing and sales to drive market access and service development within key Severe Asthma multidisciplinary teams.
Develop working relationships and network with all stakeholders in key centres to ensure they can be used to effectively influence adoption pathways and purchasing decisions.
Maintain a high degree of knowledge for our product portfolio and developments in the NHS clinical & purchasing environment.
Complete all company administration and reports within guidelines and time scales specified to ensure high standard of management information.
