Medical Representative - Reduced Hours - Derma & GI - Hamps & Surrey

Our client has an extensive product range within the Dermatology and GI markets. This exciting role will be working as a Medical Representative across North Hampshire, South East Hampshire, Surrey Heath, Guildford, Waveney, Southampton and West Hampshire. The role of the Medical Representative is to become an experienced practitioner of consultative selling - developing customer relationships that are built on trust and loyalty.
*****This is a rare opportunity working full time hours, but with 6 weeks off over the summer school holidays, in addition to other holiday entitlement. This position is working on a rolling contract basis and is a great opportunity to work for a well-established company*****
Key Account Management within the NHS, especially working within Primary Care.
Ideally you will have key working relationships established with GPs on the territory.
Proven selling experience with relevant achievements.
Preferably with at least two years' experience of selling with the NHS.
Demonstrable track record of achieving sales in an NHS environment and generating & mobilising 3rd party endorsement.
Knowledge of key drivers within the NHS & Pharmacy sectors.
ABPI qualification is essential.
The main focus within the team, is to implement business strategy, objectives and KPIs as directed.
The role of the Medical Representative is to become an experienced practitioner of consultative selling - developing customer relationships that are built on trust and loyalty.
All Medical Representatives will need a thorough understanding of their products and their customers so that they can target and tailor their messages in the most effective way.
Increase the use of company products and services within the NHS to support clinical practice within the NHS.
Increase sales and recommendations of the product range in Pharmacy.
Have a thorough understanding of the changing NHS environment and its impact on the customer base within a given geography, knowing the objectives and drivers of each region of the territory.
To proactively seek, co-ordinate and record all intelligence relating to company products across a given geography.
Develop and implement a local business plan in conjunction with and aligned to national strategy, which includes short and long term objectives to achieving success.
Develop and maintain a comprehensive database of all contacts and develop a KOL database to be shared nationally.
Assist in the development of the appropriate tools and materials to support the designated brands.
Good networking skills
Ability to evaluate the local healthcare economy within a particular geography
Ability to identify the issues and opportunities for the products
Clear and concise data analysis of the market place within the particular geography
