Key Account Manager - Immunology - Kent, Surrey & Sussex

Salary: Exceptional package in line with experience and achievements

We are currently recruiting for a market leading Pharmaceutical organisation with an exciting new opportunity working as a Key Account Manager within the Immunology market. This exciting role will be working across Kent, Surrey and Sussex. The purpose of the Key Account Manager role is to build and execute business plans to meet sales goals for assigned territory and to develop effective business relationships with customers in the Rheumatology therapy area. The customer base is Secondary Care and includes hospitals, institutions, Local Health Authorities or private payers. This is an exciting new opportunity to join a new team build to help launch a brand-new product.

Essential Requirements:
Current or recent Pharmaceutical sales experience in Secondary Care.
Extensive knowledge of NHS - structure, strategy and funding.
Rheumatology experience would be ideal.
Experience in biologics is preferable.
Ideally you will have experience in Pharmaceutical product launches and dealing with high cost medicine.
Proven account planning and/or matrix management experience.
Commercial acumen and awareness.
ABPI qualified.
A current driving licence with no more than 6 points.

Role Responsibilities:
Develops understanding of customer organisations and influence customer decisions.
Develops business/clinical networks supporting medical advocacy and Key Opinion Leader plans.
Adapts approach and communication style during sales calls responding appropriately to customer needs.
Ensures that our client's products and services are understood and available to more patients and customers.
Deploys and uses marketing and sales promotional materials and programs.
Develops deep specialist product and disease state knowledge in the specific therapeutic area.
Allocates resources effectively for sampling, programs and events.
Integrates customer-facing activities across cross-functional teams (Medical Affairs, Market Access).
