Primary Care Representative - Respiratory - Wessex/ Berkshire
Salary: Exceptional package in line with experience and achievementsWe are currently recruiting for a market leading Pharmaceutical organisation with an exciting new opportunity, working as a Primary Care Representative within the Respiratory arena. This exciting role will be working across Wessex and Berkshire and will function predominantly at GP level.
Ideally you will have proven success in Pharmaceutical sales, however other areas of Medical Sales may be considered, such as: Medical Device sales, OTC sales etc.
Presenting with strong interpersonal, communication and influencing skills (both with customers and colleagues).
Awareness of external competitive practice.
Strong results focus.
Qualified to ‘A' level standard or equivalent.
Full driving licence.
ABPI qualified (unless new to Pharmaceutical Representative role).
Responsible for selling defined brands in your specialist therapy area to clinical customers across Primary and Secondary Care(GPs, Practice Nurses, Retail Chemists, Hospital Customers) through face to face contact.
Organise and host clinical promotional sales meetings and symposiums.
Develop and continuously improve a high standard of selling skills, product knowledge and knowledge of the NHS.
Demonstrate a level of knowledge in your therapy area that makes you a recognised specialist in this area.
Deliver against an activity plan within key practices, retail and hospital sectors as agreed through effective planning and implementation of call and meetings plans.
Deliver agreed tactics within territory action plan and ensure plans are up to date.
Ensure that all activities comply with corporate governance standards and the ABPI code.
Keep a daily record of customer contacts and share with colleagues.
Identify the needs of customers and opportunities to provide solutions to develop business.
Identify emerging customers who will influence our sales.
Advocacy - Work to develop key customers in line with brand strategy and as part of the local account plan.
Ensure that all meetings are planned and approved on the account homepage.
Meet deadlines for business planning requests, business reporting, etc.
