Business Leader - Haematology - South UK

Our client has an extensive product range within the Oncology/ Heamatology arena. This exciting role will be working as a Business Leader across South England and South Wales. In this role, you will lead a high performing cross-functional team of 8, in order to ensure delivery of agreed business and patient access outcomes within the defined geography.
Experience in Oncology/ Haematology is highly preferred
Educated to Degree Level ideally in Business, Science or Marketing.
Minimum 5-year experience in the Pharmaceutical industry.
Must have related field sales experience with previous experience in people management.
Experience in market access and/or service development is highly preferable.
Cross-functional / matrix working with leadership of a cross functional team.
A current driving licence with no more than 6 points.
To lead the Key Account team with direct line management responsibility for the Sales team and responsibility for coordinating all customer-facing roles (i.e. MSLs, Market Access, Nurse Advisors) across the portfolio and geographic area of responsibility in order to grow the business, develop strategic partnerships, and achieve short and long-term objectives as a whole and in key hospital accounts.
To create and deliver a cross-functionally aligned territory and account plan aligned to the national plan.
To contribute to crafting the national plan (strategy and tactics) and leading the adaptation and execution of the local plan, including identifying local growth opportunities and deciding appropriate allocation of human and financial resources to maximise the potential and achieve overall financial objectives across the portfolio and geography of responsibility.
To evaluate joint working project proposals, recommend which projects the Business Franchise should support in line with Franchise priorities and ensure cross-functional working in relation to the projects that are taken forward by the responsible Healthcare Service Manager.
To identify and build networks/develop advocacy among key external stakeholders who are important to achieve short and long term business interests, including ensuring access and optimal use of our client's products.
To critically analyse, understand short and long-term trends across geography and products and specifically within key accounts in order to identify growth opportunities, adapt strategy/tactics and allocate resources.
To monitor the market dynamics, including the competition and healthcare environment and to uncover customer insights with the aim of anticipating challenges and opportunities and ensuring that our strategy and tactics are competitive and meet the changing needs of our customers.
To co-ordinate input from CR Team members in order to propose high quality clinical centres which can contribute to advancing the development of our medicines and enrolling clinical trials.
To engage, motivate, develop and coach individuals and their cross- functional team to realise their maximum performance and potential.
To leverage the team's knowledge, (both functional and cross-functional) skill-set and competencies to deliver the right solution to the right patient relative to the UK environment.
